Dietary Delights: Skye indulges in a wholesome diet of grass, hay, silage, and forages. For a special treat, she can be hand-fed potatoes or meal (safely, through the security of a gate), although she prefers to enjoy them from the ground. Always mindful of those majestic horns, Skye’s dining preferences add a delightful touch to her regal routine.

Enjoy an exclusive visit to Flavour First to meet your Highland Cow in person! Pre-book your session on one of our available dates between April and September.

🔸 Important Details:

• Visits must be pre-arranged using the voucher and are only available on specified dates provided by us.
• Meet & Greets are not available during the Sunflower Event in August.
• Visits outside the designated time frame are not permitted.

Please note that for your safety, handfeeding will occur with a gate separating you and the cattle. If feasible, our staff will accompany you into the pasture for photos; however, we cannot guarantee proximity or petting within the pasture due to the cow’s large horns. Safety is our priority, and the cattle’s unpredictable head movements make it crucial to prevent unintended injuries. Remember, all meet-and-greet sessions must be pre-booked, ensuring a delightful and secure experience for everyone involved

The fine print:

• The named individual on the certificate is the official adopter, and the adoption cannot be transferred or refunded.
• The adoption period is valid for one year from the date of purchase and is renewable if desired.
• All inclusions within the adopted package must be utilized within the specified adoption period.
• Adoption does not confer ownership of the animal.
• An animal may be adopted by more than one person, fostering a sense of shared connection.
• In the event that your adopted animal is no longer available at the farm during your adoption period (e.g., due to the animal’s passing or other reasons), you will be offered another animal along with their corresponding package for the remaining duration of your adoption.
• Meet and Greets must be pre-arranged and will take place between April - September.
